More About Us
Rowley Hill Club has a long history within the village of Lepton. The club was formed in 1880 by a group of local men, and has evolved over the years to become a Community Social Club that offers a variety of entertainment and activities to families and individuals within the locality.
The Club is run and operated by a Committee on a non paid basis. The Committee Members are all strongly committed and passionate about Rowley Hill Club.
Rowley Hill now has a membership of over 300 people, but you do not need to be a member to visit. The Club faced financial ruin and closure several years ago, but is now in a much improved financial state. The club has just undergone a significant refurbishment that modernises the lounge and bar area.
Rowley Hill looks set to continue and grow its 21st century community roles into the future: play a part in society; offer support for local good causes; be a great and friendly venue to meet family, friends and neighbours. It’s a Club that provides evening entertainment such as prize bingo, raffles, live music, outdoor Summer concerts, comedy nights, playing popular music, bar sports, SKY Sports and most importantly an opportunity to get involved locally. Rowley Hill Club is undoubtedly “The Largest Small Club in West Yorkshire!”
